Work/Cleanup Weekend

Friday, May 2:  

          Dinner: Bring something to grill and a side dish to share,

                        BBQ grill will be ready at 6:00 pm

Saturday, May 3:  

          Breakfast:  on your boat

          Lunch:  Cold cuts, cheeses, assorted breads, condiments, 

                        chips, cookies. 12:00 noon

          Dinner:  Steve’s authentic Chili Frito Pie, cornbread, Caesar

          salad, assorted condiments, dessert.  6:30 pm

Sunday, May 4:  

          Breakfast: Continental breakfast; Croissants, sweet rolls,

          fresh cut fruit, orange juice. 8:30 am

When arriving, please contact the Dockmaster on Channel 72 ten (10) minutes before you get to the Club.  You will be sterning in to the dock so have fenders on both port and starboard sides of your boat, have bow and stern lines rigged and ready on both sides.  Please contact the Dockmaster for instructions.  If you have a preference for inside or outside docking, make your request known before you arrive at the dock.  Please communicate on Channel 72.     

There is no cost for the weekend. Please sign up via our Club website by 04/26/2025.  If you have any questions, please call or text Steve at 775-433-7803.

Here are some of the items we hope to accomplish:                      

Repair Isinglass panels                                                           

Disassemble/haul out old BBQ grills                                   

Wash all windows                                                                  

Clean window blinds                                                             

Repair/paint exterior window/door trim                          

Cut/clear backyard overgrowth                                          

Inspect/repair loose dock planks and rub-rails                

Repair/replace faulty Twist-Lok receptacles                    

Pull and inspect/clean water pump and pick-up screen                                                                       

Service/clean and start small engines:  pressure washer, wood chipper, lawn mower                

Service/clean and start (gas) fire pump,

Energize (electric) fire pump                                              

Check/repair all lighting (exterior, interior)                    

Inspect/secure any loose exterior sheet metal                

Clean/shampoo blue cloth chairs in the galley   

Wipe down galley cabinets, wash all dishes, glassware, bowls, flatware, kitchen utensils, pots,

    pans, etc.                                                                            

Clean pantry and wash all articles in the pantry            

Clean west side galley screen door                                

Clean galley air conditioning vent                                                                                     

Purge book inventory

Clean both bathrooms and showers                              

Tighten lug bolts for toilet in small bathroom              

Hang mirror on the back of the door in the large bathroom                                                                  

Clean/wash white plastic chairs in boat house            

Clean white lounge chairs                                                

Clean fluorescent light covers (4) in boat house, inside and out                                                                     

Sort club decorations, toss unwanted items                              

Install metal seam strips to galley floor                        

Install new linoleum under galley sink
